The article examines the role of information technology in ensuring successful cross-docking, a process that minimizes the storage time of goods and accelerates their movement in the logistics chain. The importance of automation, IoT, big data and artificial intelligence for optimizing operations is emphasized. The current trends and prospects of technological integration are analyzed, as well as key challenges such as cybersecurity and integration of new systems. In conclusion, it is concluded that a strategic approach is necessary for the effective implementation of IT solutions in the practice of cross-docking.
