The article is devoted to the study of the impact of digitalization of the economy on the investment policy of joint-stock companies. The topic of optimizing the investment policy of joint-stock companies in the context of the digitalization of the economy is becoming particularly relevant today both in connection with the increasing role of digital technologies and in the context of the transformation of business models due to the imposition of sanctions by foreign countries. Russia, with its vast geographical extent and heterogeneous economic climate, today appears to be a battlefield where sanctions and counter-sanctions are making changes to the investment policy of joint-stock companies. The paper examines new opportunities and risks arising in connection with digital technologies, as well as offers solutions to optimize the investment process. The author explores the relationship between investment and the development of the digital economy, showing how investments contribute to innovation and the formation of new infrastructure. The paper also examines the main forms of investment available to joint-stock companies: from investing their own funds to raising capital on the stock market and venture financing. The purpose of the work is to form recommendations for improving the investment policy of joint-stock companies in the context of the digital transformation of the Russian economy.
