National security is a multifaceted concept that includes military, economic, social and environmental aspects that ensure the sustainable development of the State and the well-being of citizens. The article examines the modern understanding of national security, focuses on the importance of economic stability, social harmony and environmental sustainability. Special attention is paid to the analysis of Russia's national interests and strategic priorities, reflected in the current National Security Strategy. An integrated approach combining conservation of human potential, protection of the constitutional order, information space and cultural values, as well as sustainable economic development, helps strengthen the country's internal stability and international positions. It is concluded that the presented national interests and strategic priorities of Russia reflect an integrated approach to ensuring sustainable development and security in the face of modern challenges. These areas of activity require concerted efforts from all sectors of society and active interaction between government agencies and civil society. The implementation of these priorities will not only preserve stability in the country, but also strengthen its international position.
