The article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the organizational, staff, qualification and age structure of the company's personnel. The key elements, goals, objectives and indicators of each structure are considered. The results of a comparative analysis of various types of personnel structures of the organization are presented. Attention is focused on their interaction and importance for effective human resource management, which contributes to increasing the company's competitiveness in a changing economy, in addition, the use of each type of structure in the use of reserves for productivity growth is taken into account. The importance of structures in the work of a labor economics specialist is analyzed on the basis of the professional standard "Labor Economics Specialist", and a comparative analysis of the role of each type of personnel structures in the activities of specialists holding the positions of labor specialist, engineer for labor organization and rationing is performed.
