The article discusses the current issue of using talents in an organization. Various points of view on the definition of talent in an organization are given. The analysis of the characteristics used in the definitions by the ranking method has been carried out, which shows that an employee with a high level of development and showing high efficiency and productivity is considered a talent. The dependence of talent is found not only on its knowledge and skills, high competence, but also on the leadership style and the type of organizational structure used. A table of conditions for the use of talents is constructed and the types of talents most suitable for a particular leadership style and/or type of organizational structure are described. The conclusion is made about the greatest benefits of using talents. It is proposed by the author to use the classification of talents to establish conditions for the most effective work of outstanding employees.
