The phenomenon of social inequality in the digital world: how does democracy exist in conditions of economic imbalances
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
This article is a study of photography in the context of creative industries, focusing on the socio-humanities and their interaction with modern scientific knowledge and technological advances through artistic forms. The purpose of the article is to describe the practices of everyday life and everyday resistance, based on the key concept of the Eigen-Sinn phenomenon. The visual aspect of photography is seen as a factor influencing both the photographer and the viewer, stimulating the development of ideas and problem solving. People put their own thoughts, feelings and emotions into photographs, thus experiencing an existential experience. Opposition to certain rules or requirements of modernity is analyzed through several photo projects, as well as the research project "Existence" conducted by the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2020-2023. The authors conclude that Eigen-Sinn is a historiographical concept that allows productive interpretation of individual and collective behavior and actions affecting all spheres of society and is important for the field of creative industries first of all.
