Educational Ecology in the Context of Digital Overload: Strategies for Maintaining Attention, Depth, and Meaning in Learning
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The modern educational environment is increasingly becoming a space of digital overload: endless notifications, multiple platforms, multitasking and information noise undermine students’ ability to concentrate, think deeply and learn meaningfully. The article introduces the concept of educational ecology as a holistic system aimed at restoring the balance between technology and human, stimulation and peace, productivity and reflection. The strategies of creating “healthy” learning environments are analyzed: minimizing digital noise, designing “quiet” zones for concentration, developing metacognitive skills, strengthening the personal meaning of learning and a culture of conscious use of technology. It is emphasized that maintaining attention and depth in learning is not an individual task for the student, but rather a responsibility of the entire educational ecosystem: teachers, administration, platform developers, and the learning culture itself.
