Abstract:
In a rapidly changing business environment, a competency-based approach to team formation and management is becoming increasingly relevant. However, its implementation faces a number of strategic challenges that may hinder its effective implementation. This article analyzes the negative factors associated with the implementation of a competency-based approach to team management, including organizational resistance, resource constraints, difficulties in assessing competencies, and cultural factors. Based on a conceptual analysis and practical examples, strategies for overcoming the strategic challenges of implementing a competency-based approach to team management are proposed. The research results confirm the need for a comprehensive approach to team management, including the integration of technology and personnel training, to achieve sustainable improvements in team performance. The article contributes to the development of team management theory and provides practical recommendations for managers. It concludes that a competency-based approach can be used to develop key competencies of a company's management team through an effective training system. The purpose of this article is to identify and analyze the main strategic challenges of implementing a competency-based approach and propose original strategies for overcoming them.
