The study of the relationship between strategies of behavior in conflict and the emotional intelligence of employees in management
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article examines the relationship between conflict behavior strategies and emotional intelligence among employees of an organization. Conflicts in professional teams are an inevitable consequence of joint activities, and their nature and resolution methods directly affect the psychological climate, team productivity, and the company's innovation potential. The relevance of the study is beyond doubt, as empirical and theoretical studies of the last two decades have consistently confirmed the existence of a stable and meaningful relationship between the level of development of emotional intelligence and the preference for certain behavioral strategies in conflict situations in a professional environment. The conducted theoretical research allowed us to come to the following conclusion: a high level of emotional intelligence, providing better emotional self-regulation, understanding the motives of others and effective communication, creates stable prerequisites for choosing constructive and integrative strategies for resolving conflicts.
