With the ever-changing economic landscape, the imposition of sanctions by unfriendly countries, and the introduction of digital technologies into the production process, every organization in Russia is undergoing significant organizational changes. The systemic nature of any company suggests that changes in one area of the company's operations inevitably lead to other component (organizational) transformations. It is crucial to explore the tools and roles of employees involved in the change process, as they provide insights into the company's capabilities and, most importantly, help prepare employees for the upcoming organizational changes. The article discusses the main characteristics and functions of a leader who takes on the role of a change agent in an organization, presents the leader's quadrants (level of influence) based on the type of change, and explores the methodological principles for effective organizational change
