The article examines the state of the Russian clothing market in the context of the liberalization of world trade and the imposed international sanctions. The organizational and economic management methods used by companies to adapt to new conditions are analyzed. Special attention is paid to strategies aimed at increasing competitiveness and reducing dependence on imports. The successful examples of domestic brands that have managed to reorient and establish production are being investigated. In conclusion, conclusions are drawn about the prospects for the development of the Russian clothing market and its impact on the economic stability of the country. The work is aimed at specialists in the field of economics, business and management, as well as students and teachers interested in current issues of the fashion industry.
