The article considers innovative methods and traditional approaches in the context of modernization of Russian education. The possibilities of using modern educational technologies, interactive methods, project and research activities for the formation of key competencies of students are revealed. Traditional approaches, their importance in ensuring the continuity of the educational process and preserving the values of domestic pedagogy are analyzed. The synergy of innovative and classical methods is discussed, which allows achieving a harmonious combination of digitalization and humanistic education. The importance of adapting pedagogical practices to new challenges and standards that ensure personal development and training of competitive specialists is emphasized. The study is aimed at finding optimal solutions to improve the quality of education in modern conditions. The work is aimed at identifying effective solutions to improve the quality of education and training competitive graduates.
