The presented scientific article proposes a scientifically based and practically applicable model of integratively balanced spatial development of the region, which will ensure sustainable economic growth at both the national and regional levels, improve the quality of life of the population and preserve the environment. Integrative-balanced development is a combination of the interests of the national economy, the region and inter-regional interests with the coordinated development of the economy, social sphere, ecology and infrastructure. The article defines the conceptual foundations of integratively balanced spatial development, identifies the factors influencing it, formulates the fundamental principles of integratively balanced development, presents a structural and logical model that allows predicting the consequences of various management decisions of regional authorities and evaluating the effectiveness of proposed measures to develop the spatial economy of regions. The materials of the conducted research contribute to the development of the theory of regional economics and spatial planning, and can also serve as a basis for the development of regional development strategies.
