The professional readiness of tourism and hospitality workers includes motivation, value attitude and orientation. At the current stage of quality management of personnel training in the areas of Tourism and Hospitality, it is important to forecast the development of modern socially oriented professions, which include activities in the tourism and hospitality industries. The purpose of the study is to substantiate relevant methodological approaches to assessing the level of professional readiness of employees of the tourism and hospitality industry, at the main and final stages of professional education at the university, in the context of the application of a competence-based approach in the educational process. The formation of professional readiness of employees in the tourism and hotel business should be carried out through the management of the synthesis of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, professional skills, a sense of belonging to the professional community and diagnostic and self-help mechanisms.
