Proper implementation of the onboarding process determines the effectiveness of subsequent on-the-job activities, and its absence can lead to undesirable employee attitudes. Therefore, preparing new employees for their professional duties must be purposefully planned and implemented using a combination of methods and approaches. The absence of a well-structured onboarding process can reduce the effectiveness of employee engagement efforts even before they begin. This article examines the experience of onboarding, using examples from international companies. Particular attention is given to the onboarding methods used in these companies
